Holiday Closure Announcement and New Beginnings for NORTHART

As the festive season draws near, we at NORTHART Gallery want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support throughout the year. It has truly been a joy to share our passion for art and culture with each of you. As we embrace the holiday spirit, we would like to announce that our gallery will be closed for the Christmas and New Year period, starting at 4 PM on Saturday, December 23rd.

During this time, we encourage everyone to soak in the warmth of the season, spend time with loved ones and whānau, and perhaps even find inspiration for your own creativity and mahi toi. Whether you're indulging in festive treats, decorating your home, or simply enjoying a moment of reflection – kia hikaka – we hope this holiday brings you joy and rejuvenation.

We will reopen our doors in the New Year, but there are notable changes ahead! As you may know, the redevelopment of the vibrant Northcote Town Centre is on the horizon, and with it comes an exciting new chapter for NORTHART Gallery. Starting in February 2025, we will be relocating to a 26m² 'Satellite Gallery' located on Ernie Mays Street, Northcote.

Thank you once again for being a part of our vibrant artistic community. We look forward to welcoming you to the new NORTHART Gallery in all its exciting glory next year. Meri Kirihimete me te Tau Hou.
