Northart is a leading contemporary public art facility in Northcote Town Centre, in the Kaipātiki area, Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.

Northart is located at 1 Ernie Mays Street, Northcote, in the former Northcote Citizens Hall. 

Admission to the gallery is free. We are disability friendly - our space is wheelchair accessible. There is free parking all around the gallery.

Our Mission:

To Enhance the economic and cultural wellbeing of Aotearoa New Zealand’s arts community by championing diverse arts projects in Kaipātiki. Reflecting Te Tiriti o Waitangi values we advocate for community-led engagement and cooperation to cultivate creative, inclusive spaces and support artists and audiences alike to enjoy and celebrate the arts.

    Flower Hammer Printing : A joyful, tactile process where fresh flowers and leaves are hammered into fabric or paper or fabric, transferring natural pigments directly from the plants to the surface.
